JOIN OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS

You MUST register for an account on our volunteer app and fill out the waivers on your first day with your volunteer coordinator. 


After you fill out the application below, our volunteer trainers will review and approve/deny your application. They will call you to schedule your first day for orientation within 7 days if you are approved. 


 If you plan to drive your car on routes with us during our Boots on the Ground outreach or to do deliveries or pickup's for us, you must also fill out an Auto waiver form below. This will be in a volunteer folder that you will be given on your first day.

CIVIL RIGHTS VIDEO AND WAIVER

 Our food pantry is supplied by Akron/Canton Food Bank. They have a requirement for anyone working in our building to watch the Civil Rights video. You must initial and sign a form that we will keep on file for our yearly inspections.


 All volunteers will need to have this completed before or on their first day. You may click the link here to watch the video.  Our Network Partner number is 1509 - (it will ask for this when you fill out the online form) https://www.akroncantonfoodbank.org/civil-rights-training


 At the end of the video, it will have you fill out a form. Please screenshot the completed screen to show our volunteer coordinator on your first day. She will have you initial your papers during your orientation.
