Friendsgiving will be delivered in the Homeless Camps on Nov 24th during Boots on the Ground.  This is already planned and will be prepared. 

We are also serving Friendsgiving in our Community Room on 

Nov 18th,19th, 20th, 22nd, 25th, 26th, 27th. 

We need the following items donated for our Community Room meals 

2 Turkeys - cooked and sliced

Pies - Ready to eat

Homemade desserts 

Drinks - soda 

Gravy & Ro

We are sharing Gift Buckets this year directly into camps. We are collecting certain items to make the buckets be meaningful gifts that our friends wouldn't usually get.  

We are collecting: 

Snacks, Bus passes, gift cards, homemade snacks, pens, self-love journals, travel size games, inexpensive jewelry items, new socks, new hats and gloves, new small blankets, nail sets, thermal clothing, and more

Friends in Tents & Community Outreach has chosen to participate in Adopt A Classroom with Akron Hope this Holiday season.

We are sponsoring the gifts for a 4th grade classroom at Mason CLC and will be responsible for providing 17 boys, 15 girls, and their teacher with gifts. 

Student gifts will be $20 each and the teacher gift will be a $25 gift card from a list of suggested places provided to us by

We have adopted 21 children this holiday season who have a parent that is incarcerated through Angel Tree Fellowship. 

We love this program because it helps the caregivers who step up while the child's parent is away. We will be delivering the gifts on Dec 15th. 

We need all gifts marked with names and wrapped. We would like them to be delivered to our building by Dec 10th.
